The Official Blurb

Patricia Morris is a Singer-Songwriter whose music has been played on national and local radio in the UK, Ireland and the US.

Holding an MA in Creative Writing from Lancaster University she is also an award-winning Poet, a founding member of ‘The Errigal Writers’, a radio personality and facilitator.

Patricia appeared on RTE television before releasing her first self-penned album “Walk the Wire” which was followed by an EP of more original material “Between New Year and Valentine“. The single “Boxes” was ‘BBC Leicester Introducing’ Song of the Week in 2021 (weekly listenership 150,000).

She has been acclaimed as both a singer and songwriter by Boo Hewerdine, the playwright Willie Russell (Blood Brothers) and Chris Difford of Squeeze, among others.

In performance Patricia brings the delicacy and rhythmic nuances of her poetry to her song lyrics, which, combined with a voice of great beauty, with a distinctive clarity and tone, creates musical moments which evoke both the Irish and the Scots’ physical, cultural and emotional landscapes.
Her warm personality in live performance and skill in interpreting songs drawn from a seemingly inexhaustible repertoire of Roots music has been described in turn as being “magical” “unforgettable” and “stunning”.
